Briana was born and raised in Tampa, Fl. After high school, she attend the University of Florida where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor\’s Degree in Health Education and Behavior in 2010. After graduating, she earned her Associate\’s Degree in Nursing and a few years later she obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2017.
Briana worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph\’s Children\’s Hospital on the pediatric medical-surgical unit while attending graduate school. Briana also has prior experience working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Currently, Briana has been practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since March 2018 in the specialty area of pediatric neurology with a special interest in neurobehavioral disorders. She also works for the University of South Florida as an adjunct faculty for the College of Nursing Graduate Program.
Briana is an active member in the community and she is a deaconess at New Bethel Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Briana is also a part of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. Briana has been happily married to Arnold Jones III for more than 6 years and has two young sons.
During her spare time, Briana enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, volunteering in the community and going to church.
Briana’s ultimate goal in life is to provide families with the education and support needed to live a healthy life.
